Tanto desde el punto de vista filológico como contextual, el participio griego ἀπολελυμένην (Mt 5,32 y Lc 16,18) no puede entenderse con significado activo (“la [mujer] que se ha divorciado [de su marido]”), sino pasivo: “la [mujer] repudiada”.
Both from the philological and contextual point of view, the Greek participle ἀπολελυμένην (Matt 5,32 and Lk 16,18) can not be understood with active meaning (“the [woman] who has divorced [her husband]”), but passive: “the repudiated [female].”
