Los textos clásicos son releídos e interpretados en el interior de comunidades influidas por circunstancias históricas que las orientan. La Biblia ha influido de modo intenso durante siglos en la cultura occidental. Narraciones como la de Caín y Abel (Gn 4,1-16) influyen en el pensamiento que acompaña a las diversas comunidades. Resulta interesante observar las lecturas realizadas por las tradiciones rabínica, cristiana y gnóstica en los tres primeros siglos de la Era común. Necesariamente el estudio será somero. Se ofrece abundante bibliografía para profundizar.
ABSTRACT
The classical texts are reread and interpreted within communities influenced by historical circumstances that guide them. The Bible has for centuries intensely influenced Western culture. Stories like that of Cain and Abel (Gen. 4.1 to 16) influence the way of thinking that accompanies the various communities. It is interesting to follow the readings made by the Rabbinical, Christian and Gnostic traditions in the first three centuries of the Common Era. The study will necessarily be brief. Extensive bibliography is recommended for further reading.
